Easy VHS to DVD

 

Problem:

I am getting "No Video Signal" when trying to use Easy VHS to DVD products

Solution:

The PrintShop 2.0 Pro
 

Problem:

When selecting a template in The Print Shop 2.0, the program either shuts down or gives an error message that the program has stopped working and needs to close.

Legacy Family Tree
 

Problem:

Cannot update my Legacy Family Tree to the latest version

Solution:

Go to the Home tab and then click on the updates link on the right-hand side then a window will pop open and you'll have to register online.

Once registered an automatic email will be sent with your Activation Code and then you can enter the code to install the patch updates. If you do not receive the automated email then check your junk mail.

 

U-SING Microphones 

Problem:

My USB microphones will not work with my Wii Karaoke game even though they were purchased with a previous version of the game.

Solution:

The Blaze Microphones will work with the U-SING You've Got Talent and the U-SING Girls Night however it does not work with the new U-SING 2 Australian Edition or any Karaoke Revolution Glee game. This is because of an agreement that Nintendo made with Logitech that all new Karaoke games on Wii will only work with the Logitech USB Microphones.

Mindscape have only ever bundled our games with the Logitech Microphones however some of our retailers chose their own Microphone to bundle with the games on a retail level to make it cheaper for their customers, unfortunately this has now caused more issues for customers.

TurboFloorPlan 

Problem:

TurboFloorPlan is not displaying Australian/NZ Catalog

Solution:

The settings on your PC need to be set to Australia/English not USA - that way that your PC will pick up the Australian/NZ settings. Go to Control Panel and Regional and Language settings - Check all three tabs.

Once complete you will have to re-install the software.

 

Wii Connection Issues
 

Problem:

Can't connect Wii to the internet.

Solution:

TurboCAD
 

Problem:

DCS A-10C Warthog
 
Problem: DCS A-10C Warthog won't work on my 32-bit operating system

Solution:

Problem:Can not install DCS A-10C Warthog patch updates on my computer because the  wesbite only has versions 1.1.0.6 or later and I do not have the previous versions installed.
Solution:

The 1.1.0.9 patch update includes all previous updates within it. Because the download is quite large we suggest you install uTorrent and then download the 1.1.0.9 patch
 

PrintMaster 2011 Platinum
 
Problem:Valid product key cannot be found on the system. Please re-install with a valid product key. (Mac Computers Only)

Solution:

 

 

This issue occurs when your user account does not have access to the folders where PrintMaster files should be installed.

To correct the problem, please follow the steps below. Please do keep in mind that you must be logged onto the computer with Full 'Admin' permissions before you either reinstall the program or follow the steps below.

To ensure that your user account has Full 'Admin' permissions, please click on the Apple in the upper left hand corner of the menu bar, then select 'System Preferences'. Under 'System', select 'Accounts'. When the window opens, look for your user name on the left side of the window.

If you do not see 'Admin' under your user name, you will need to contact a user who does have 'Admin' status, then ask that user to either give you 'Admin' status or assist you with your problem.

If you do see 'Admin' under your user name, please proceed to Step 1 below.

1. Open a new 'Finder' window.

2. Under 'Devices', click on 'Macintosh HD'.

3. Open the 'Library' folder.

4. Open the 'Preferences' folder.

5. Search for a file named com.storyrock.printmaster 2011 platinum.plist

6. If you are able to find the com.storyrock.printmaster 2011 platinum.plist file, send it to the Trash, then proceed to Step 7 below.

If you are not able to find the com.storyrock.printmaster 2011 platinum.plist file file, proceed to Step 8 below.

7. Reinstall the program.

8. The permissions for your computer might be corrupted.

Navigate to the 'Applications' folder, select the 'Utilities' folder, then select 'Disk Utility'.

When the 'Disk Utility' window opens, select 'Macintosh HD' then select 'Repair Disk Permissions'. This might take a while - depending upon the size of your hard drive and the current state of your computer. And, if necessary, it would be a very good idea to allow this process to proceed overnight.

Once the Repair Disk Permissions process is completed, re-install PrintMaster 2011.
